• The Big Bang is a great restaurant if you fancy a quality sausage & mash feast. The atmosphere upstairs is homely and they have great local ales as well. The food is very good and you get to choose from a vast variety of sausages, types of mash and gravy (or jus). And it's not too expensive! Overall, highly recommended!
• The Big Bang in Oxford is a great place to go, good food, good service, and a very good price. Such a great range of amazing sausages! A really good concept as well. Sausages and mash, how much more perfect can you get?!
• I'd walked past the Big Bang on Walton Street for years, and knew it was supposed to be good, but had somehow never got round to going in. What a mistake! Excellent value, and a really enjoyable evening, helped along by really attentive service. There's a good range of gourmet sausages to choose from, and locally brewed beers to round it all off. I will certainly be going back.
• The Big Bang was a real find - very popular with the locals and a great menu - try the "Big Bang" option which allows you to choose any 3 sausages from the regular menu/specials, together with a choice of 4 types of mash and 3 types of gravy. The meal concluded with 2 empty plates as a Fleetwood Mac played gently in the background. Wine list is reasonably priced for a restaurant. Highly recommend this little restaurant.
